Hulla folks:)
It's me, Monika. How are you? Tired with your assignments eh? so do I. Heheh
Being student of English Department, we have to read MANY books to improve our knowledge, right? but unfortunately in Indonesia books from the other country are very expensive (because of the tax maybe?). Why don't you consider about second-hand book?
Meet my dear friend, Reading Lights.
Located on Jl. Siliwangi 16 (near Ciumbuleuit), this bookstore is quite near with our campus (you can take caheum-ledeng angkot, the cost is only about Rp 2000). In reading lights you can get many kinds of book, like novel, children book, and imported magazine with reachable price.
Since it is a bookstore and coffee corner, Reading lights also providing sandwich, cake, and beverage. Highly recommended: Pancake with Blueberry sauce and ice cream. Yummy!
Having no dates on Friday night? don't worry, you can come to Reading Lights and watch movie for FREE. The program is from 7pm to 9pm.
Another interesting thing is, many native speaker of English often come to reading lights. You can practice your English guys, and get new friends of course.
Well, since it is not an advertisement, I don't want to give you too much information about this place (they don't pay me for writing this, anyway:p). Hope this writing can be useful for ya.
CU around folks, 'ta

I agree with Imon. Other country books are expensive in Indonesia. But, personally, I use e-books as alternative. Furthermore, it's not too hard to find free e-books.
